Village Green Holding LLC and its subsidiary V-Suites LLC desired to bring both offices under one roof, doubling their square footage, and leaving the lack-luster and ineffective layout of the office that had been their home for the last 30 years. Premier Construction & Design provided Village Green with a flexible layout to promote collaboration and wellbeing for their employees while creating a brand identity throughout the space.
The elevator lobby, reception area and large conference room serve as the main points of client interaction and were transformed into focal points of the office. Porcelain tile flows from the elevator lobby into the main conference room where a dropped wood-look ceiling is highlighted with decorative LED pendants. Carpet planks in multiple colors blend into one another creating a subtle pattern that continues throughout the remainder of the office.
The design teams of both Premier and V-Suite’s collaborated to create a layout that provides perimeter offices with glass doors and large sidelights while leaving large spans of exterior glass open to allow light to flood into center workstations. Plants and reclaimed wood products are scattered throughout the office to create continuity throughout the office while promoting wellness and allowing employees to feel connected to nature. Workstations showcase low walls to encourage collaboration, but still allow employees privacy. A game room, huddle spaces and small conference rooms are scattered around the perimeter to promote open discussions and socialization within departments. The break room and copy room are centrally located to provide easy access for all employees.
