Big & Small Ways to Give Your Office a Makeover

With all the time you spend in your office, it’s only natural that you might want to change things up every now and then. Giving your office a makeover is a great way to help make going to work every day a little more fun and exciting.

Whether you’re looking for a quick project to help liven things up or you’re ready for a large-scale project, there are so many ways to give your office a new look that it can be hard to know where to begin. Need a little design inspiration? Here are some ideas to help you get started.

New Paint

If you need a relatively quick and simple way to revitalize your space, giving the walls a new coat of paint is one of the best ways to give you the results you’re looking for. Tired of looking at drab walls? Choosing a new color can give your office a completely new look. If it’s been a few years since your office was last painted, a fresh coat of paint can help give it a fresher, more polished look and cover up signs of wear like scuffs on the wall. Another great idea is to create an accent wall by painting one wall in a contrasting color.

New Furniture

Furniture plays an important role in the office and there are many good reasons why you might want to consider investing in some new pieces over time. Just remember that you don’t necessarily have to replace all of your furniture at once. Focusing on one area at a time can still make a big difference in your space. For example, if everyone’s desks and chairs are still in good shape, simply picking out some new seating for a lounge area or some new tables for the break room can help change up your office’s appearance and give your employees something new to appreciate.

Add Storage

Even as more and more companies decide to go paperless, storage is still an office essential. Not only is clutter unattractive to look at, it can also cause people to be less productive. If clutter is starting to become a problem around the office, it’s a great time to look into some new storage solutions, whether it’s extra shelving, file cabinets, or storage for personal items around desks. Or if you have a storage room that’s gotten a bit disorganized, completely reorganizing it will help make it easier for people to find what they need.

Add a Feature Wall

A lobby feature wall is an excellent way to make a first impression on anyone who visits your offices. Not only can they be extremely eye catching, they’re an excellent opportunity to bring a bit of your brand’s corporate identity into your office design. Just remember that feature walls can be so much more than a wall with a logo on it. There are many ways you can get creative with feature walls, so see where your imagination takes you.
